As Product Manager - ADF Pay and Conditions, I built, coached and led a multidisciplinary team to solve the problem of how to make the complex pay and conditions ecosystem of Defence easier for Members and their families to understand.I led a multidisciplinary team of Designers, Developers and Content designers through discovery and delivery. I used data to not only measure the current state and set success measures but to validate that we were solving the right problems and that the product we built was useful, useable, viable and feasible.In the end the team delivered the highly successful ADF Pay and Conditions website, which allowed ADF members and their families to, search, scan and understand their pay and conditions with an information architecture based on qualitative and quantitative research and evidence.The team received a Secretary's Award for our contribution to making the lives of members and their families better.

At the then Digital Transformation Office, I supported the vision of the CEO by building multidisciplinary teams and applying product and user-centred thinking to the corporate services arm of the agency which I helped set up.I built multidisciplinary teams of Designers, Developers, Researchers and Product Managers which went on to build highly successful products for Government such as the Digital Marketplace and Digital Identity.In addition, I used product and user-centred thinking to design useful and effective employee onboarding and offboarding programs, using data I gathered and measured over the course of my tenure here.I'm proud of the contribution I made here towards moving digital Government services in the right direction.
