As an Entrepreneurial Lead at ICURe and a Research Fellow at the University of Surrey, I have over six years of experience in developing wearable and flexible piezo/triboelectric nanogenerators (TENGs) using nanomaterials and eco-friendly materials. We develop self-powered pressure sensors that can provide uninterrupted data for improved healthcare, sports, and fitness analysis.I have expertise in synthesizing and characterizing nanomaterials, such as perovskites, ferroelectrics, and biopolymers, and applying them to enhance the performance and functionality of TENGs.I have also designed and fabricated various TENGs-based sensors for autonomous health monitoring, remote communication, and driver behavior detection, using recycled plastics, textiles, paper, and bio-waste. I have authored over 35 high-quality peer-reviewed journal papers and have an impressive h-index of 26 and over 1700 citations. I am passionate about using nanotechnology to solve real-world problems and create a positive impact on society and the environment.

Entrepreneurial LeadIcure Setsquared Partnership Sep 2023 - PresentUnited KingdomImagine no more hassles with charging your device or losing vital data due to power issues. Our technology offers eco-friendly self-powered pressure sensors that can provide uninterrupted data for improved healthcare. Our device can be powered by itself from the individual’s daily movements and activities. So, say goodbye to running out of battery and hello to limitless power anytime anywhere.Through this ICURe program, we are looking for an opportunity to explore whether these autonomous sensors can be used to provide remote health care in a non-invasive and unobtrusive manner. These sensors could be applied to remote patient monitoring /care through virtual wards/ sleep labs/ elderly care.We look forward to speaking with the professional in #remote healthcare #virtual wards #sportswear #fintness analysis -
Research FellowUniversity Of Surrey Oct 2019 - PresentGuildford, Surrey, England, United KingdomWorking on exciting projects like Eco-friendly triboelectric smart sensors through bio-waste (like silk cocoons) and recycled plastic cups, to make roads safer. Flexible and recyclable paper wipes; nanomaterials/polymer coated textiles to develop TENGs: towards the wearable and self-powered Internet of thing (IoT) systems.Developing novel soft TENGs targeted to harness the biomechanical stimuli over small to high-frequency range, were further employed for autonomous health monitoring.Perovskites and optical sensitive nanomaterials to boost the charge accumulation and surface charge density of triboelectrics, and for synergetic optical and pressure sensing applications. -
