Staff Engineer, Embedded Electronics
Current- Electronics design, sustaining engineering, and research support for Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) Bone Growth Stimulators- Embedded firmware development in C and Assembly- Develop electronics hardware to support PEMF in-vitro, in-vivo, and clinical research studies- Feasibility modeling and concept creation for PEMF treatment coils- Electromagnetic field modeling and simulation using Comsol Multiphysics- Specification and evaluation of electronic component alternates for supply chain risk mitigation- Development and testing of lithium ion battery packs using prismatic and cylindrical cells - Design and implementation of accelerated life cycle testing fixture for lithium-ion battery packs including firmware programming and PCBA design- Project management for sustaining and new product development projects, including design inputs capture, conducting formal design reviews, Design History File capture- Conduct risk analyses (FMEA, FTA)- Verification protocol development and execution for new designs and design changes- Provide technical support for Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Regulatory, and Manufacturing departments
