Modern communication challenges are knocking at your door. Traditional face-to-face meetings have been replaced by email, text messages, and video conferencing. This revolution has brought some people closer together, but many feel it is pushing us farther apart. This new form of digital distance can and does create problems for those who do not have the skills to navigate it. As a scholar and currently serving U.S. Navy bomb disposal leader, I study and solve modern communication challenges daily.I hold a B.S. in Liberal Arts, an M.A. in Communications, and a Ph.D. in communications from Liberty University. My primary research interests are strategic, organizational, and interpersonal communication.I have served in the U.S. Navy for 16 years. I am a qualified Master Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Technician, EOD Exploitation Specialist, SCUBA and mixed gas diver, and a Naval Parachutist. I have worked in the pacific theater for most of my career and am tactically oriented to building and sustaining relationships with our partners and allies.
