Two significant projects I worked on were Conversion and PACE (Product Acceleration Engine). On both projects, my skills in developing and maintaining critical collaborative relationships was frequently called out, and the reason why I was often assigned to special efforts that relied on collaboration with other teams and stakeholders.

Business Analysis Consultant with software development company that supported NiSource, one of Forbes top 25 utility companies. Worked with remote stakeholders, development teams, and vendors across NiSource’s 7 subsidiary companies to implement enterprise-wide initiatives that supported nearly 4 million customers. - Assigned the responsibility of establishing a Business Analysis program by defining and implementing processes, policies, and templates aligned with NiSource’s PMM; provided training and served as a mentor to other Business Analysts.- Manage overall requirements process including elicitation, analysis, documentation and communication; translation of business requirements into functional and non-functional requirements; process mapping, and creation of Use Case scenarios.- Create screen prototypes and define user-centric workflows for Customer Information System software- Supervise and coordinate testing including System, Quality Assurance, User Acceptance, Performance and Regression Testing; prepare and manage test strategy, plans and progress. Manage defect tracking and troubleshooting for quick resolution.

My contract with Matrix ended in November 2014, and my mother was diagnosed with ovarian cancer two weeks later. I turned down a new contract offer in order togrieve and focus on work as her executor.

Contracted to create current-state and future-state business process maps and data flow diagrams in support of a project implementing a 3rd party solution that offered subscription based, multi-channel service alerts. Added to the team after kick-off, but quickly got up to speed and became a valuable contributing member. Working with the business, two external development teams and the 3rd party vendor, the documents I created revealed gaps in requirements and unidentified business rules. Transitioned into a testing role and assigned responsibilities for identifying system integration testing scenarios, as well as writing the test scripts.
