Main responsibilities were to effectively run the Wallis concession within Debenhams, and to efficiently manage staff as well as merchandising in store effectively to ensure highest and best sales. I was the first point of contact to the local area manager, thus I was required to analyse reports on a daily and weekly basis in order to effectively merchandise the stock in keeping with current trends and weather demands which will aid in maximising sales and drive staff to meet targets. Always to create the best customer experience.

Main responsibilities were to ensure that my department’s (Womenswear and Shoes) are correctly merchandised in keeping with current trends and store trends. I was required to ensure the flow of the colours, shapes and styles of the products are placed in correct places in order to create the best journey for the customer from their point of entry to their exit. I was also required to do a lot of customer service and face to face interaction.

My key responsibilities as a team leader were to set a great example for my colleges with excellent customer service. To occasionally run the pub which included organising a group of staff of about 10 and ensure all aspects are in order and ready to hand over to the next duty manager. There was also a large amount of cash handling and till handling required of me, which was a big responsibility but one I was happy to learn and take on.

My main responsibilities were the assistant to the pattern cutter and both the designers, helping design research development into pattern development over two seasons. As well as drafting up new patterns and developing designs through to final sample. Preparing final patterns ready for sampling with manufacturers which included doing spec sheets for the garments and insuring instructions are clear. In addition to this I often delivered patterns, with fabrics and gave instructions to the manufacturers I was also in charge of social media during 2 seasons which included both twitter and Instagram for the brand and helped build a media presence for the brand and gained new followers on both media platforms. General studio assistant duties of running errands and ensuring the smooth running of the studio.
