I first came to Australia with my parents and younger sibling in 1974 and I've always had a keen interest in, education, law and justice, involving myself with a number of organisations and projects - volunteering for community legal centers, establishing support services and advocacy structures. Over the last three +decades, I've developed a wide range of skills which include policy and organisational development, training, writing and communication, research and planning, advocacy and the provision of specialist advice on a range of public/private/not for profit sector issues, gained through my long-standing and professional involvement in a number of sectors.I've continue to work as a freelance Consultant through The Australian Development and Training Group as well as support individuals and organisations in any way I can, particularly with regards to further education and policy development, as well as advocacy through government systems, grant research and writing or whatever current issues 'are afoot'.When I'm not working (and as part of my own self development), I enjoy writing, reading, music, cooking and my continued involvement in social issues through Blogging, Twitter and Facebook (when and if I get the time), including my continued interest of continuing with the production of a community radio program in the Spanish language I managed from 2006 to 2015, 'currently in transition' and possibly starting up again in 2020 - here's hoping...
