Tusome Africa is a not for profit organization whose mission is to eliminate poverty through educational attainment

Responsible for overall strategic leadership of the Country Programmes in Kenya and Uganda including providing strategic direction, programme development and operational management. Represent the organisation with Government, Local and International Organisations in the countries and develop/strengthen partnerships at different levels. Take a leading role in developing, overseeing, reviewing and monitoring of the Country strategies and ensuring the same is aligned with the overall APP strategic directions and thematic focuses. Responsible for developing new programming initiatives and ensuring cross learning and knowledge management in all areas of programming, national, regional and international policies and development issues. Responsible to lead fundraising initiatives ensuring the smooth running of the Country Programme and its programmatic & financial sustainability including overall financial and human resources management of the region and ensuring the requisite systems and structures are in place and well functioning.
