I'm a native of Uruguay, raised in Buenos Aires - Argentina. I have a background in graphic and multimedia design that spurred more than a decade of experience on notable projects using the most current techniques for web, interactive, and other design disciplines, from individuals to non-profits and corporations. In 2002 I landed in LA and became a freelance consultant on graphic and web design projects for a variety of clients, and a partner at Linealmedia, a web design and development studio where I was responsible for creative direction, branding, and online marketing campaigns for a diverse clientele.I am passionate about the convergence of regenerative design, technology, art, environment, and community. That passion brought me to San Diego, where I started collaborating as the educational program designer and technical support assistant for both curriculum development and experiential learning programs implementation at Fab Lab San Diego, including design and digital fabrication, product design, and creative computing. It’s been inspiring to be part of initiatives driven by innovation, sustainability, community, and the development of positive leadership for the next generation. In recent years I participated in local fellowships and programs such as Art of Science Learning: Incubator for Innovation and Pomegranate Center: Gathering Places, developing and creating community-engaged and collaborative placemaking projects. As Program Director and Mentor/Facilitator for Volunteer Abroad programs in Costa Rica, Peru, and the Dominican Republic, I've lead groups of senior high students working in community gardens and sustainable projects.Since 2018 I've been part of the teaching staff at Solidarity Farm School and became a farm steward in the midst of Spring 2020, collaborating with farm operations in different capacities and coordinating the Farm Stand and the Climate Resilience projects. In 2021 I transitioned to work with Foodshed, a local food distro and resources hub, collaborating with production and mentorship, deepening knowledge of soil health, documenting the co-benefits of carbon farming methods, and translating the science into public advocacy and education campaigns. My main areas of interest include regenerative agriculture, carbon farming, soil health, water conservation, natural building, agroecology, natural & biophilic design, permaculture, nature & outdoors education, village life. I enjoy working with youth, community groups, and collaborative environments that nurture growth and encourages empowerment.
