This position is a newly created position at Simmons University that aims to bridge gaps between the Student Organizations and the J.E Community Leadership and Engagement (JECLE) Office. I work directly with the Director and Assistant Director of the CLE and focus on helping student orgs create fun, accessible and diverse events on Simmons' campus. My position as the Student Organization Programs Manager requires to have a vast understanding of Student Government Association Bylaws and policies in order to properly manage and direct the organizations and clubs on campus and their planned events. I report directly to the Assistant Director of the JECLE, Chel O'Connor, and have spent the first few months in the position helping Chel create a more detailed understand of the positions responsibilities, as well as planning my own events, office hours and resources to further help students enhance the Simmons experience.

The Programming Assistant for the Assistant Dean of First Year Students.Aiding the Assistant Dean in creating events for first year students, scheduling her meetings and working to create a better and more inclusive environment for first year students at Simmons University.

Providing excellent customer service to a large volume of patrons including private hosted events and general service.Greeting customers upon entrance, offering specials, drink suggestions and further information on the dining menu. Upholding strict cash handling procedures to ensure the company's revenue is recorded properly. • Serving between 50-200 people per shift. • Serving tables as well as cocktail serving the game room. Memorizing seasonal cocktails and in-house brews to promote to customers.

Consistent part-time employee averaging between 20 and 30 hour weeks. Serve lunch, dinner and drinks to 50-150 people per shift at a locally owned bar and grill.Memorize over 50 menu items as well as a 25 beer rotating draft list and weekly drink and menu specials, in order to give guests specialized recommendations.Handle customer relations by greeting new and returning customers at the door as well as successfully resolving conflict resulting in customer satisfaction and loyalty.
