I was fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to do three months full-time work experience at DSCO Ltd in Ware, Hertfordshire, which started immediately after I finished my A-levels in July 2012. I was subsequently offered a position on a permanent basis in October 2012.I have been trained in preparing end of year accounts for limited companies and sole traders, Book-keeping and completing Tax Returns. This has involved the use of Sage Accounts, Microsoft Excel and IRIS software on a day to day basis. I was also studying part-time at BPP Professional Education Centres in London towards gaining an AAT Qualification to progress my career in Accountancy.Once my AAT Qualification was successfully achieved, I made the decision to travel the world. I have now returned and am delighted to have been offered a permanent position with PA Consulting within the MIPAC team.
