As a Freelance Graphic Designer, I help turn clients' visions of their events - no matter how big or small, into a memorable function by producing fresh yet thoughtful illustrative material. This includes digital and in-mail invitations, venue signage, product packaging, and presentations/slideshows.Events that I have had the privilege of working on include birthday parties, weddings, engagement parties, baby showers, and galas. This has allowed a wide breadth of insight into the uniqueness of each event, however I am always looking forward to trying something different. I chiefly use the Adobe Creative Suite to create clientele material, having professional knowledge of printing, layouts, fonts, readability, arrangements, and sizing. A cross-over from my educational background as an architecture graduate, and experience within the marketing sector.

As a Glitter Makeup Artist of Glitter Me Adelaide, I am one of several artists who provide a mobile service (I'm primarily rostered within Southern Adelaide and CBD) of applying glitter on clients following a brief consultation of their wants and needs, with particular care for those with sensitive skin. Services include face and body glitter paint, temporary glitter tattoos, intricate jewel designs, glitter beards, and music festival inspired looks. Events I have catered to include birthday parties (kids and adults), hens parties, community events, festivals, and galas. This has allowed me to regularly improve my interpersonal skills, as well as value punctuality and presentation amongst a broad stretch of clientele and their expectations. Whilst most events I have catered are of individual clients, many have also been overseen by companies and brands such as; the Adelaide City Council, Virgin Australia, Adelaide Fringe, Flinders University Student Association, Stamford Hotels & Resorts.

As Marketing Manager of AUSABE, my main responsibilities included developing and implementing promotional strategies for the organisations’ memberships sales, execution of relevant social and industry events, as well as products (i.e. club exclusive merchandise) to maintain interest/interaction with existing pool of consumers and supporters, as well as attracting interest amongst potential consumers. Alternatively, I was also chiefly responsible for producing effective graphical content within a given timeline, ready for posting across all social media accounts. The graphical content ranged from teaser graphic posts, infographic posts, videos, and additional content such as Instagram stories or graphic banners for Facebook Events/Eventbrite pages. Simultaneous to completing my architecture degree, this provided an opportunity to indulge my interest in graphic design, but in a perspective different to architecture. I’ve been able to explore, experiment, and develop my skills with a high level of creativity, as well as gain experience and understanding on teamwork communication and producing/posting content with time pressures on top of my tertiary assignments; thus, allowing me an increased workflow and efficient use of my time. Programs I have used are all from the Adobe Creative Suite, such as Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and Dimensions. Furthermore, I am very experienced with significance of correct dimensions/formatting and exporting for websites, social media apps, magazines/booklets and digital billboard advertisements.
