About Bear Shelton
In my professional career I've worked for 8 years in consulting or training in some capacity and one of the number one things I've learned is that training often kind of just isn't very good. The need for and even quality of the content is often high but if the training is delivered poorly, which again it often is...it's almost just as bad as not being trained at all.So I've dedicated my career into making both live and self-serve training experiences FUN and ENGAGING. If people are having a good time, they pay better attention and take more away from the training and therefore are more likely to act on that training. Who doesn't love an increase in changed behavior? By focusing on the needs of adult learners and striving to deliver training that is story-driven, upbeat, humorous, and hands-on, learners have more fun and not only do they learn more, they feel more positively towards what they've learned. I'm not in the business of filling pails with water but lighting fires that burn with attendees long after a training is over. If you're interested in learning more, follow me or reach out!
