Growing up in a small town, graphic design was never a thought in my mind, let alone a career. I grew up wanting to be a chef of all things, but it was when I got my first job in a t-shirt print shop that sent me down a different road.​The moment I was introduced to the concept and practice of graphic design, I fell in love. It was like a problem that needed to be solved and if there is one thing I enjoy, it's solving problems. To add to it, it is problem-solving using art and creativity, two things I am passionate about. I aim to secure a position in a dynamic, creative environment that fosters teamwork and nurtures my growth as a designer. To seek opportunities that allow for creative expression, critical thinking, autonomy, and experimentation, with a strong focus on attention to detail. My goal is to produce high-quality work for clients while consistently pushing my creative boundaries and advancing in quality design.For the last six and a half years, I have called the Manhattan/Riley area home due to my position as a Graphic Designer for my last employer. During my time there, I created the foundation for their digital media library, all while having no experience in video creation and editing. On top of that, I had also helped rebrand one of their most successful programs to feel less dated and more relevant. My input and work were also felt in a variety of other areas of the business as well. It is because of this that I am confident in my skills to know I would be a great asset and addition to your team. Some of these skills include creativity, conceptual thinking, problem-solving, dependability, communication, the ability to work well in a team or on my own, the ability to work well under pressure and with strict deadlines, and my focus and attention to detail.During my time as a graphic designer, I have gained valuable knowledge of what is expected and how to navigate through a fast-paced environment. I have also developed my design skills with print materials, marketing materials, and various other mediums, including video production, allowing me to be versatile with design. Through real-world application of these skills, I know I am the right fit for your needs.One of the things I have found as a designer is I will never stop learning, there are always new techniques and styles to conquer adding further ammunition to my design arsenal. My skills as an overall artist will continue to grow and improve furthering my ability to solve any design problem.
