Implemented web-based ecommerce and content management systems (CMS) for several non profit and for profit businesses. Systems included Magento eCommerce, Zen Cart eCommerce, Joomla, and WordPress (CMS/blog). Implementations involved client consultations, installation, configuration, customizations, and migration of legacy customer and inventory data to new solutions. Created stored procedures to sync data between Magento eCommerce system and customers' point-of-sale system.

* Supported and developed PHP code base, added features, and developed application components to build newspaper print ads from online ads. The print ad part of the system entailed building fully-rendered, print-ready RTF and PDF files from online classified forms, plus supporting XML data for delivery to the client newspapers. As Technical Lead and Support Software Engineer on the InfoExpress product team, performed the following: • Designed and developed monitoring tools for the systems, applications, and connectivity. Functionality included detection of problem, evaluation of severity, correction attempt, notification of appropriate personnel, and escalation using text-paging and email.• Designed and developed a database structure and supporting utilities to centralize mass quantities of customer and configuration data for customers and implementations. Built tools to dynamically generate web pages from this database to aid the Product Support Center to troubleshoot application and hardware issues in a timely manner.• Designed and implemented scripted and automated processes for installations and upgrades to minimize customer impact. Originally, installations could take up to 5 days; after implementation of these automated tools, installation time was reduced to 20 minutes.
