Bea worked at SemBioSys Genetics as the HR Administrator until 2008, performing functions such as Recruitment, Training and Development Coordination, Performance Management system tracking, Compensation Analysis, Benefits Coordination, Policy development, Payroll, Stock Option Administration, and other adhoc administrative items. Bea originally found her niche in HR at ATCO Gas in 2004, when she accepted the HR Coordinator position for the Southern Alberta office in Calgary. She enjoyed working with the dynamic team of professionals, and supporting them in their Recruitment, Retention and HR metrics. Bea has indepth experience working in a variety of software, including MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access design, Publisher, Solium Shareworks, ACT!, Ceridian PowerPay, and some Macintosh software. In her HR experience, Bea has worked in the oil and gas, research, education and natural cosmetic industries. She helped research and administer the start-up HR systems for two new companies, including one in the US. She has designed databases for HR metrics, recruitment tracking, compensation systems and pre-employment testing. Bea completed her Honours degree in Biology at the University of Waterloo, Ontario. She was born in South Africa, raised in Ontario, served at an adult care facility in New Hampshire, taught English in Taiwan and now resides in Texas.
