I was in charge of a research project whose aim was to bring more insights into splicing and transcription mechanisms. Splicing is involved in 50% of genetic diseases. Splicing and transcription are two intracellular mechanisms involved in the pathway engineering proteins. Being in charge of a research project implies technology and subject watch, oral and written communication (french and english), technology skills, rigor and curiosity. I used many technics of cellular and molecular biology and biochemistry (human cell culture, immunoprecipitation, ..., microscopy and imaging, some informatics and statistics).I was also in charge of the acquisition and maintenance of scientific machines (10k€).During my thesis, I trained 2 students, the last one was succeeding me on the project.

Paris-Montagne is an association promoting science. Created in 2006, I participated to the first festival in the coordination part and was part of the organisatio for the second edition in 2007.I was in charge of :- think-tank about general theme of the festival "sur les traces du chercheur" (following footprints of researcher). - call-to- tender towards scientific mediation associations and volunteer to get scientific animations and shows. - selection of the animations and shows- creation of three pathways according to the general theme (microscopic scale, human scale, universe scale), involving different animations- recruitment of 40 young researchers to make them become guides for children groups during the festival- during the festival : welcoming of groups, affiliating groups to pathways, affiliating guide to groups, managing the guides team, finding solutions to problems occuring.budget : 100k€people : 1200 visitors within 3 days
