The Centre for Emotional Health is a national charity dedicated to creating an emotionally healthy, resilient and responsible society. Supporting emotional health at home, at school and at work, we have 20 years’ experience developing, delivering and evaluating training programmes across the UK.Our work at school offers a range of social and emotional learning courses and resources that provide school and university staff with tools and strategies to establish emotional health as the bedrock for an inspiring learning environment. They underpin a school community whose ethos encourages peer group co-operation and social responsibility, as well as building relationships with and supporting parents to engage fully in their child’s learning and the school.

Work with Universities and Schools to train and support approx 1700 in-school mentors across 11 regions of England and Wales.

Work with Universities and schools to train 250 Teach First participants in 90+ schools across the area.

What's Cooking was founded to empower young people with the ability to overcome challenges, make active choices in their lives and gain invaluable employability skills. Our mission was to provide these opportunities through cooking and working in a café local to their school and home. By providing a space in their local community young people experienced responsibility, success, and an opportunity to develop skills and personal strengths. Small groups of students were supported in an innovative, sustainable way through the preparation of healthy food for themselves and others.
