Process Engineer with hands-on experience and expertise in delivering engineering design support for equipment and processes across pharmaceuticals, refinery, petrochemical, and chemical plants. Engaged throughout the basis of design, detail engineering, construction, and startup phases, actively contribute to the development of new facilities, expansion projects, and the optimization of chemical and pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. Experience was gained in various locations including the API Clayton site and Fluor Offices in the US, Poland and Netherlands.Experience included:- Worked collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including equipment vendors, engineers, designers, and clients, to resolve design issues and meet milestones on schedule;- Produced Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs);- Assisted with design of Clean-In-Place (CIP) systems for cleaning process pipes, vessels, and tanks;- Reviewed and approved Request for Quotations (RFQs) and Request for Purchases (RFPs);- Prepared equipment lists, valve lists, instrument lists, and line lists;- Generated Technical Specifications (TS’s) based on User Requirements Specification (URS) and Requirement Risk Assessments (RRA’s) provided by the client;- Led review meetings for TS’s/URS’s, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams, and Process Flow Diagrams;- Issued Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) for review, approval, and construction, including several for Design Qualification (DQ) and Installation Qualification (IFIQ) purposes;- Participated in design workshops with engineering suppliers during skids model reviews;- Specified relief scenarios, PSV sizing, and verified PSV calculations performed by others;- Participated in Process Hazard Analysis evaluations (PHA’s) and Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) Studies;- Prepared Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams Change Notifications (PIDCN's) and approved change implementations;- Assisted in designing plant layouts using AutoCAD and MicroStation for new and existing manufacturing lines, building additions, and new construction;- Ensured compliance with company, client, and project design standards;- Facilitated information exchange with external personnel and companies;- Communicated effectively with internal customers, external vendors/partners, and management;- Adhered to all safety and environmental requirements while performing duties.
