During my undergraduate studies, I was fortunate to be presented with two very different opportunities that ended up forming the common thread for most of my professional life thus far:• Participation in a student electric vehicle team, where I helped build a (then) cutting edge NiMH battery pack with power management system.• Internship at a Telecom company, where I was given the chance to write embedded software for (then) cutting edge Intel MCS-51 MCUs.I soon realized that I was equally fascinated by embedded coding and electric power conversion, and thus went on to earn my PhD in the field of electric drives, where I could develop and apply my knowledge in both disciplines.The intersection of power electronics and embedded software, especially as it applies to sustainable technologies, has been my passion ever since.Currently, I am responsible for Plexim products related to the generation, testing and validation of embedded code for power electronic systems.I pioneered the PLECS Processor-In-the-Loop (PIL) framework and architected the fundamental structure of the PLECS Coder MCU Target Support Packages.Our team at Plexim is growing, and I look forward to working with new equally passionate team members.
