Everyone makes their own impact on the world, and I’m certain that mine is making connections. I have a knack for finding the common ground that connects people through network, purpose, and experiences. I am passionate about working to make those connections bigger, stronger, and impactful. I've held several positions in my career revolving around those things in event planning, fundraising and development, and project management. The career I’ve made in the nonprofit sector was completely by accident. Post-grad job hunt struggles led me to a part-time position at an organization where I had volunteered for many years. That led to a full-time position for 6+ years, which became the steppingstone to working for two other nonprofits to finally land at the AAF.My external partners consist of C-suite level individual executives from global companies, brands, and agencies to not only keep them connected to their industry, but to make sure that connection remains an authentic one. In advertising, impact is the bottom line. I figure out ways to foster community through engagement that shows how far that impact reaches.Sometimes that looks like $3M+ ceremonial gala dinners; sometimes that looks like creating a podcast series to showcase individual stories in advertising; sometimes cocktail receptions or panel presentations to engage a very niche audience; sometimes the only way to describe what that looks like is ‘special project. The endless possibilities that keep me on my toes and make me highly adaptable are part of what I love most about my role. The other parts are the people, the experiences, and how far that impact reaches. I’ve learned so much about advertising and continue to learn new things that excite me about engaging corporate partners. It’s how I will continue to make my impact.FUN FACTS:- I’m a first generation American who is bi-lingual and a dual citizen. I am proud of my heritage and know how fortunate I am to know where I come from- I love baseball and have been a huge Atlanta Braves fan since I attended the 1996 Olympics.
