I am an executive mentor, I give tools and coaching to holistically build life skills with a focus on entrepreneurship and job creation. By implementing programs on mentoring for leadership, I train companies to achieve their diversity and inclusion goals. I am a 2023 Mandela Washington Fellow Alumni; I graduated with a Leadership in Business from the University of Notre Dame. I have an Honours degree in Media, specialising in Public Relations and Visual Arts.I am the organiser of TEDx Vineta Women, the first TEDx women in Namibia in almost 40 years of TED history. Our goal is to help move the conversation about the power of girls and women and bring about much-needed change. Diversity and Inclusion are our core values; on our first event, one of our speakers was a member of the deaf community.In addition to that, I offer leaders strategies for building a poignant Personal Brand and coaching for speakers.I sit on the Project Steering Committee of Trade Forward Southern Africa (TFSA); a program designed to alleviate poverty across the Southern African Customs Union and Mozambique (SACU+M) by increasing the scale and quality of trade within the union and with the UK.Under TFSA, I have trained three cohorts of entrepreneurs to equip them with the knowledge needed to trade their goods successfully.I am a certified teacher, passionate about education and training, the co-founder of a consulting company: Akoma Trading cc.I pride myself on being a conscious consultant and coach - knowledgeable in coaching teams on how to build better leaders, solidify workplace cohesion, and integrate diversity more effectively into their departments and processes.Because of my personal and professional circumstances, I build bridges between diverse ethnicities, social strata, and male/female-gendered environments in various spaces such as organisations, communities, and schools.I am involved in social activities that seek to impact communities progressively. These include women empowerment, early childhood education, and capacity building amongst the youth. I am an experienced organiser and ensure that all events are creative and have maximum impact.My personality, work approach, motivation, and charisma are inspirational and reflect the true meaning of my name, “bringer of joy”.
