Senior Manager of the Legal Department as Data Protection Officer for 6 years, building, developing and running the data protection program for +28 countries and markets in the EU region. Also responsible for the Asia-Pacific Region for 2 years (while the company was recruiting the main responsible). Main point of contact for consumer service business, HR and especially marketing and e-commerce functions. Built strong collaboration with all functions, being part of the IT department for the first 2 years in the role then joining the legal department. Main focus on:- e-commerce from 2021 to 2024 to build effective consumer experience in full compliance with the GDPR and the local regulations (10 e-commerce websites have been launched within 3 years that generated 120 mln euros in revenues in 2023 only)- consumer service GDPR compliance, especially in the call center practices (automatic message, call recording practices, privacy notices, marketing consent management and collection mechanisms)- data breaches and security incidents managementSolid experience in managing the relationship with the data protection authorities (ICO, CNIL, Garante Italiano) and managing relationships with third parties that act as data processors or joint controllers.
