Hi, I’m Beatrice! An actuarial graduate with a double major in marketing from UNSW. I’m passionate about using data and analytics to solve real-world problems, particularly in risk management and decision-making. In my Statistical Machine Learning for Risk and Actuarial Applications assignment [the objective was to identify the top 2,500 drivers at high risk of fatal accidents using statistical machine learning techniques], I achieved a score of 95% (well above the 75.19% average) which demonstrated my ability to leverage data for impactful decision-making. I’m fluent in English, Chinese, and Malay, can get by with Hokkien and Cantonese, and I’m currently picking up some Korean!
