I am a Master of Architecture graduate and a registered architect with experience in designing and managing medium to large-scale projects, including multi-residential buildings, libraries, university buildings, and large-scale master planning. My expertise spans architectural design, project management, strategic planning, and effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.A twist of fate led me from architecture into the world of E-commerce, where I embraced the challenge of starting a business with little background in the field. Recognising a market opportunity, I self-funded my startup, HeyDoodle, and successfully navigated its growth, establishing a strong presence in both the Australian and US markets, and further distributed in over 15 countries. My architectural skills have been instrumental in driving innovation within HeyDoodle, particularly in mastering silicone manufacturing and collaborating closely with manufacturers to test and develop new ideas.Under my leadership, HeyDoodle has achieved significant milestones, including winning prestigious awards like the Australian Small Business Champion Award, Stevie International Award, and 'Best Kids Product of the Year 2024.' I have also established strategic collaborations with organisations such as Australia Zoo, Melbourne Museum, and Capella Hotels, leveraging HeyDoodle's unique capabilities to create bespoke projects.Beyond business success, I am deeply committed to social responsibility. HeyDoodle has contributed significantly to charitable organizations like the Leukaemia Foundation and Empower Food Relief, as well as regularly donating products to children's hospitals and NFP foundations. My journey reflects a combination of architectural expertise and entrepreneurial spirit, driven by a commitment to innovation, strategic growth, and creating meaningful impacts both locally and globally.
