Currently embarking on an exciting new chapter in my career focused on philanthropy. As I am deepening my knowledge in grantmaking, governance, trust management, I am dedicated to developing my skills necessary to support projects and for-purpose sectors that improve community access to the arts, fostering cultural engagement and diversity in art scene. As a gallery assistant at Bromley & Co, I supported the daily operations and exhibitions of a commercial art gallery that showcases contemporary Australian artists. I handled various tasks such as customer service, inventory management, artwork installation, demonstrating my adaptability and attention to detail. I also have a strong background in theatre production, having worked as an assistant producer and art administrator for two theatre companies in Hong Kong, Trinity Theatre and The Radiant Theatre. I managed diverse productions under the challenges posed by the pandemic, such as online streaming, hybrid formats, and social distancing measures. I contributed to the successful delivery of multiple shows, including a large-scale musical, children theatre workshops, and online streaming shows. I hold a master's degree in art curatoratorship from the University of Melbourne, where I gained theoretical and practical knowledge of the art industry, as well as skills in research, writing, and curating. With my interest in audience engagement in art museums and a passion for contemporary art, I did my minor thesis with topic of Assessment of Audience Development of Public Art Museums in Hong Kong, Using Hong Kong Museum of Art and M+ as Case Studies.I am passionate about arts and culture, and eager to learn from different perspectives and contexts. I have excellent interpersonal skills, and I can work effectively with different stakeholders and collaborators.
