Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, Executive Education. She was formerly a member of the Philippine National Delegation to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. She was also a former youth climate advocate of UNDP Philippines and a former fellow of Parabukas, FRIDA: The Young Feminist Fund and Climate Tracker.As a personal project, Beatrice recently re-launched her newsletter, Soft Animal (softanimal.us). Member Of The Philippine Delegation To The 22Nd Un Climate Negotiations

Before and during the 2016 Marrakech negotiations, I supported the Mitigation negotiation team under the Department of Environment's Climate Change Office by providing technical briefings and support to the lead negotiator that informed country positions on Article 6 of the Paris Agreement.I also supported the delegation everyday for two weeks by handling logistical arrangements of its meetings and the country's official side event, providing coordination support for each negotiation cluster and writing a paper on the high-level ministerial event after which was submitted to the Office of the President and the head of delegation.I also headed the Philippine youth delegation and trained my fellow delegates on the basics of the UNFCCC process. I coordinated with other youth delegations especially those coming from Southeast Asia and discussed the contents of our 2016 Philippine Youth Statement on Climate Change, of which I was the lead writer and program director.

Partnerships And Youth Campaign Advocacy Director - Road To Paris Campaign

Prior to the UNFCCC COP 21 negotiations that concluded in the adoption of the landmark Paris Agreement, The Climate Reality Project launched an international campaign aiming to raise awareness and build support for a fair, equitable and ambitious accord.I was contracted by Climate Reality initially to handle the campaign's marketing goals but later on, I was promoted to coordinate all activities under the campaign. During this time, I also conceptualized and launched a nationwide youth program on climate change that sought to capacitate youth leaders on climate science and policy called Filipino Youth on the Road to Paris. Workshops under this program resulted in the 2015 Philippine Youth Statement on Climate Change circulated in international climate networks and the media.Because of Climate Reality's plan to set-up a branch in Manila, I was also responsible for building support from like-minded organizations and coalitions as well as key political figures in the Philippines. I was the official liaison officer assigned to maintain our relationship with the government, such as the Office of Senator Loren Legarda and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources.
