I am currently the Associate Director of Network Development at 350.org, a global nonprofit that aims to be a laboratory for the best ways to strengthen the climate justice movement and catalyze transformation around the world. Focused on building the power of 350's affiliates, local groups, and community leaders, I strive to ensure they are well-connected and well-resourced, honoring that our wins are only made possible through interlinked campaigns and strategies.I previously led 350’s regional organizing in Asia for five years, connecting community-based, national, and regional climate groups. I have designed and facilitated trainings and convenings for over 1,000 activists from 50 countries, supported campaigns and storytelling projects, and advocated for the continued leadership of youth and frontline communities in the movement.

I’m Senior Regional Organizing Specialist for 350.org in Asia. I work with awesome activists and communities — with a special focus on young people and feminists— to build people-powered movements that eradicate systems of oppression for climate and social justice.In the region, I organize alongside and connect young people across the region, contribute to climate campaigns, design and facilitate training programs and occasionally produce stories about the intersections between climate and social justice, cross-border activism in the digital age, and building people power for a better world.

I produce content including books, articles, other communications products for various partners and platforms. This includes campaign proposals, explainers on climate change, website content, personal profiles, press releases, briefing papers, etc.As is the case for so many people, the COVID-19 pandemic has grounded me home. Manila, Philippines

- Directed three core programs and several main branch campaigns: #CoalCountdown: Energy Policy Review, Youth Beyond Paris and Policy Advocacy (Carbon Pricing Philippines, HFC Phasedown and NDC Revision under the Paris Agreement for the Philippines)- Member of the Philippine Delegation to the UNFCCC COP Negotiations under the Mitigation team, monitoring Paris Agreement Article 6 negotiations- Directed partnerships for regional and national campaigns, which includes links to civil society networks, government, advocacy groups and youth groups. Key campaigns include Piglas Pilipinas, #ClimateActionPH with Rappler and #RatifyPH, a campaign to ratify the Paris Agreement in the Philippines.- Provided policy/technical support to the Country Manager for dialogue with and resolutions proposed to local government officials or campaigns- Managed communications and project support provision to Filipino Climate Leaders through a platform called Reality Hub

Marrakech Prefecture, Morocco

Before and during the 2016 Marrakech negotiations, I supported the Mitigation negotiation team under the Department of Environment's Climate Change Office by providing technical briefings and support to the lead negotiator that informed country positions on Article 6 of the Paris Agreement.I also supported the delegation everyday for two weeks by handling logistical arrangements of its meetings and the country's official side event, providing coordination support for each negotiation cluster and writing a paper on the high-level ministerial event after which was submitted to the Office of the President and the head of delegation.I also headed the Philippine youth delegation and trained my fellow delegates on the basics of the UNFCCC process. I coordinated with other youth delegations especially those coming from Southeast Asia and discussed the contents of our 2016 Philippine Youth Statement on Climate Change, of which I was the lead writer and program director.

Prior to the UNFCCC COP 21 negotiations that concluded in the adoption of the landmark Paris Agreement, The Climate Reality Project launched an international campaign aiming to raise awareness and build support for a fair, equitable and ambitious accord.I was contracted by Climate Reality initially to handle the campaign's marketing goals but later on, I was promoted to coordinate all activities under the campaign. During this time, I also conceptualized and launched a nationwide youth program on climate change that sought to capacitate youth leaders on climate science and policy called Filipino Youth on the Road to Paris. Workshops under this program resulted in the 2015 Philippine Youth Statement on Climate Change circulated in international climate networks and the media.Because of Climate Reality's plan to set-up a branch in Manila, I was also responsible for building support from like-minded organizations and coalitions as well as key political figures in the Philippines. I was the official liaison officer assigned to maintain our relationship with the government, such as the Office of Senator Loren Legarda and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources.

Lima Province, Peru

In 2014, I was awarded the Youth Advocate for Climate Change fellowship by the United Nations Development Programme - Philippines.I was supposed to be sent to New York for the UN Climate Meetings but due to unforeseen circumstances, the organization sent me to the UNFCCC COP 20 in Lima, Peru instead. I was part of the Philippine delegation and was personally mentored by the team of expert climate negotiators in the group, including UNDP veteran negotiator on climate finance, Ms. Amelia Supetran.
