Collect on a portfolio consisting of 5 business units servicing over 430 tenants that generate annual receivables more than $40 million.• Post all payments (Lockbox; ACH; credit cards) both manually and electronically • Document each email and phone conversation that pertained to the tenants in JDE collection module• Provide customer service to both tenants and internal customers including: Asset Management, Accounting, etc.• Perform collection calls/action on tenants identified as unpaid current, prior month, payment arrangement and promissory note, etc.• Recommend action to management (default, litigation, etc.) for tenants who do not remit payment • Facilitate monthly meetings with property management to discuss and resolve outstanding AR issues or concerns to reduce the balances• Utilizing best available tools, reconcile accounts, including the proper allocation of cash to charges• Review lease agreements and other documents to understand total rent due from tenants • Completes month end reconciliations for the 5 business units assigned to me

Dallas/Fort Worth Area

• Deposit checks received on-site• Run cash drawer balancing reports and complete spreadsheet daily• Review bank activities for deposits and NSF checks and take immediate action• Performed adjustments, write offs and researched unapplied/misapplied payments • Provide customer service to both field service employees and internal customers including: Accounting, Payroll etc.• Ensure all refund request have the proper support and approval before submitting the request• Completes month end closing

Dallas/Fort Worth Area

• Enter/post monthly cash• Process journal entries• Process refunds, debit and credit memos • Review AR reports to identify and research payments• Resolve customer inquiries via the AR mailbox in a timely manner• Assisted collections in write offs for delinquent accounts• Trained incoming employees and facilitated cross-training into additional areas• Completes monthly reconciliations and month-end closing
