1. Manage partnership between UCare and HealthFair 11 by representing UCare at HealthFair 11 meetings and coordinate UCare's involvement in HealthFair 11 activities. As part of the partnership, will also manage UCare's involvement and booth at the Minnesota State Fair in the HealthFair 11 building.2. Manage UCare's relationship with community agencies and groups for long-term partnerships. Examples include Hmong Health Care Professional Coalition, Q Health Connections, A division of Southside Community Health Service, Inc., Mujeres Latinas Expo, Hue-Man and other.3. Maintain UCare’s positive exposure to community members through regular participation at professional conferences, health fairs, community events and other community initiatives. 4. Coordinate UCare presence at events that are a strategic fit with UCare’s community relations plan. This will include, but not limited to: - Manage registration and other logistic aspects before the event. - Make sure marketing materials and/or giveaways are ready to be used at each event. - Recruit and support event volunteers. 5. Share event calendar and general information internally through the HUB and externally through Ucare’s website. 6. Participate as an active member of UCare’s social media strategies. 7. Other duties and projects as assigned.

• Increase awareness and understanding of brain injury by acting as a resource, providing training and information to families, and persons with brain injury, professionals and the community at large.• Develop and update educational materials.• Organize and carry out activities to educate persons with brain injury, families, and members of underserved communities as well as the professionals that work with them.• Provide on going consultation to Resource Facilitation on documenting barriers, service gaps, and duplication of services experienced by persons with brain injury, families and professionals in the region.

• Coordinate donor recruitment activities with families, corporations, and community based organizations.• Establish, build and maintain relationships with community leaders and individuals for the purpose of recruiting and enrolling minority volunteer donors into the NMDP Donor Registry• Coordinates with the NMDP for educational materials designed to attract racially and ethnically diverse donors and educate the public in general regarding blood stem cell collection and donation process.• Work with families that are searching for unrelated donors in planning recruitment activities. Refers families to the Office of Patient Advocacy as appropriate.

• Assisted Latino Child Care Professionals on completing the application process for county licensure.• Develop relationships with leaders from the Latino Community.• Assist GMDCA and the Child Care Resource and Referral network staff around the state on issues related to the Latino Community.• Coordinate and designed tailor trainings for Latino Child Care Providers, Parents and community members.• Participated as a consultant on the Spectrum of Care project.• Educate and assist providers, parents and community members on latest Early Childhood trends and school readiness.
