I received the industrial engineering and Ph.D. degrees from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M), Madrid, Spain, in 1996 and 2002, respectively.From 1997 to 2002, I was a Research Assistant with the Department of Systems and Automation Engineering, UC3M. I have worked on the localization and mapping problems in the field of robotics.Currently, I am a Professor with the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Research Institute of Vehicle Safety, UC3M. My research field covers vehicle safety, vehicle control, active/semi-active vehicle systems, sensor data fusion, Kalman Filters, robust filters, magnetorreological dampers.
