Hired-in Environmental Consultant for the National Industry Confederation in Brazil developing practical manuals on the instruments to implement a hazardous solid waste management in all Industries, which are to be used by workers and environmental specialists. Preparing a compilation of the hazardous waste state of art in Brazil and around the world bringing historical issues and new ideas on how to avoid or minimize the waste production in the Industry Sector.

Quality and HSE Engineer for one of the company’s business areas. Responsibilities included implementing and monitoring project’s QHSE requirements as defined in the contracts, developing Q&HSE Plans, ITPs (Inspection Test Plans), NCR (Non Conformity) Process, performing internal, client and supplier audits and supporting tendering activities. Acted as QHSE Manager in several projects for customers such as Statoil, Chevron, Inpex, Woodside and OneSubsea.

Among other projects, directly involved and responsible for the complex HSE activities for a massive development offshore Australia, which included assessment of high risk lifting operations and management of all requirements for the quarantine process for products sent to an environmentally protected area in the region.

Analyst and consultant at a major Environmental Consulting company, working for the quality dept and as project coordinator in different studies and EIA activities, performing quality control measurements and environmental risk assessments. Also controlling the application of legal requirements for dredging operations at Latin America’s main port channel - Santos’s port; in addition, responsible for handling the water and soil monitoring activities, focused on remediation plans for contaminated areas and sediments in different smaller projects, both on and offshore (field work).

Commercial supervisor in an analysis laboratory, responsible for technical support and customer service in connection to local environment regulation; direct work on technical-commercial proposals of major environmental tenders and supervision in the collection of effluents and solid waste in different projects; also performed quality checks on daily lab samples according to legal environment standard parameters; responsible for the preparation of technical-commercial invoices and attending customers’ needs.

Consultant at one of the major steel producers in Brazil, specifically at the company’s Environmental department, responsible for the environmental non-conformity report and monthly inspections at the whole mill; part of the study group for the Canal de Piacaguera dredging project and part of the auditing team for ISO 14001 certification and maintenance campaigns conducted by external audit companies; preparation of management reports related to environmental risks and impact and in charge of accompanying Regulatory Institutions in visits throughout the company’s yards; also responsible for giving lectures about EMS(environmental management system) and for the preparation of corporate presentations/lectures concerning HSE for newcomers.
