Hi, I have worked in school education for ten years. I started as a volunteer at my son's school. Then I went to work as a bilingual aide at Head Start for a year. I continued to volunteer at my son's school for three more years until I decided that I wanted to work there. I worked at Manzanita School as a Noon Duty for one year. Working with kids has been the best experience in my life. I heard that they had a position open at my son's school and I applied. I wanted to work at the same school as my son. I worked at Turtle Bay School for six years as an Instructional Assistant. My passion to help kids in need has made my work easy. I see how kids eyes sparkle when they finally get an answer. I feel proud to know that I am making a change in kids lives, it is rewarding when they come to me and said "Ms. Bee thank you for helping me, you have explained it better than my teacher I don't understand it from my teacher" I know that everyone understand differently and some kids are going to struggle more than others. Not everyone learns the same way. I like numbers and I like to help kids in math but I can help in other subjects. I coach soccer for one season in 2020 it was an exciting experience for me and the kids. We learned lots of new skills like teamwork and coordination. I say we because I also learned from them. Now I am At Risk Paraprofessional, at Shasta High School this is my second year. I work with kids that have IEP's and kids that have to be in house suspension. Now that I work at a high school I decided that this grade level is where I want to teach. I hope in Jehovah God that helps me make it there and to be the best I can be.
