SECOMP Unicamp is an annual event that aims to disclose current frontiers and challenges in Computer Science and Computer Engineering; strengthen relations between the university and the private sector; and generate dialogues about the role of university students in the future of the field. In this position, I coordinate various aspects of how SECOMP is seen by its investors and general public, from its visual identity and social media presence to the creation of branded products.

H.IAAC is a central contributor to the Brazilian AI Plan, an important milestone delivered by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI). As part of the Learning in Cognitive Architectures research group, I strive for advancing SOTA Continuous Machine Learning and Meta-Learning paradigms applied to Human Activity Recognition (HAR). Our main application is to use training models on mobile devices as a way to its automated actions reflect each user's behavior.

As part of the Perception team, I developed the autonomous driving system’s first step: vision. Daily improving the pipeline that captures data with stereo cameras, which recognizes relevant objects using a SOTA computer vision model and returns its locations in real time. Trying to implement new technologies in our system and add new equipments to the project are few of the challenges the driverless team and I faced. #ItsAllAboutTheTeam
