UNEP Environment and Trade is the delivery mechanism for UNEP's work on trade. In my role, I manage UNEP's portfolio at the nexus of environment, trade, and sustainable development, collaborating with governments at national, regional and international level, intergovernmental and international organizations, industry partners and smallholder associations, trade organizations and civil society, to move joint agendas forward. As part of this, I manage UNEP's partnership in the global 'Trade, Development and Environment Hub' project, funded by the UK Global Challenges Research Fund, leading public sector engagement and strengthening policy and science interface to promote trade and trade policy solutions that advance the global biodiversity agenda, including the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework, and facilitate sustainable social and economic development.
