I enjoy calling myself a continuous learner, not only in my professional life but also in my personal life. Life's journey gave me the opportunity to learn how to be a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, and a friend. Also, in my professional life learned how to work as a commercial lawyer, as a public policy researcher, and as an assistant manager with academic institutions and non-profit organizations in Colombia, Mexico and Canada.In learning how to deliver socio-educational projects for children and youth people, I became a lecturer at an university in Mexico and my desire to improve my management skills earned a Businness Management & Leadership Certificate at the University of Winnipeg – PACE in a post-degree program. All my learning experiences drove me to discover my passion in life, a meaningful work in the design, planning, implementation, and evaluation of projects and programs addressed to children and youth. In doing so, became in love with education convinced that “Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all” as said by Aristotle.Now, my strength, force, and knowledge are to contribute to organizations that share the same vision and purpose in working to give the young ones the opportunity to receive an integral education that will help them through their lives, returning to society, lives filled with passion, purpose, and wellbeing. Human beings capable of making constructive proposals to a world in decomposition, hopelessness, and nonsense.Let’s connect and explore different ways to co-construct and innovate alternatives for future generations starting with the close ones and expanding into a world without borders, blurring those previously established in our minds.
