Imagine a team of experts, huddled together, developing innovative inhalation therapies that could change lives. This is probably where you'll find me.I began my journey after earning a Master's degree in Biological Engineering. Since then, I've spent nine years working in the pharmaceutical industry involved in CMC development of new products and processes in the field of inhalation therapeutics.I am proud to hold a PhD in Pharmaceutical Technology from the University of Lisbon, which I completed while serving as a Project Technical Lead for Hovione in Portugal. During this time, I successfully implemented strategies to address portfolio trends and gaps, while driving innovation and establish intellectual property with 3 patents and numerous publications. Now as a Respiratory Development Principal Investigator at Lonza, my mission is to continue advancing the field of inhalation therapeutics, exploring new ideas and forging new partnerships along the way. One of the ways I do that is by contributing as an industry speaker and representing Lonza in IPAC-RS board of directors. I firmly believe that the key to success lies in a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence - qualities that I try to embody in everything I do.
