Beatriz Spiess´s practice focuses on real estate transactions and corporate and financial transactions. She received her law degree from the Universidad de la República, Montevideo, Uruguay in 2004. She was an associate at Guyer & Regules from 2004 to 2008. In 2009 she received her LL.M in Banking and Financial Law (Scholar) from Boston University. She is also a Certified Public Translator (English-Spanish) and obtained her degree from the Universidad de la República, Montevideo, Uruguay in 2001.Ms. Spiess is admitted to practice in Uruguay. She is an Associate at Guyer & Regules and worked as an international lawyer in Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP’s New York and Buenos Aires´ offices (2009-2010). Her native language is Spanish and she is fluent in English.She has given courses on English for Notaries and Real Estate Transactions at Universidad de Montevideo.
