- Managed and delivered several engagements on GHG emissions accounting for PT leading companies with complex emission profiles, strategies towards decarbonisation and energy transition, including assistance on net zero and Science-based target definition.- Supported the Portuguese Association of Chemistry, Petrochemicals and Refining (APQuímica) in the development of the Portuguese Chemical Sector 2050 Carbon Neutrality Roadmap, under the PT RRP. - Supported the Portuguese Association of the Plastics Industry (APIP) in the development of the Roadmap for the Decarbonisation of the Plastics Industry (RDIP 2050), under the PT RRP. - Supportted the delivery of training and business development within sustainability reporting requirements of the CSRD and EU Taxonomy.- Led the decarbonisation component on the project “EcoEconomy 4.0 Project”, aiming at promoting the adoption of innovative practices, by SMEs, around the areas of decarbonisation/ energy transition, circular economy and Industry 4.0. Main activities performed:- Supported the design and implementation of carbon pricing mechanisms and policies;- Supported clients on climate strategies, decarbonisation planning and climate disclosures (e.g., CDP);- Advised several PT companies within the EU Emission Trading Scheme (EU ETS) compliance cycle.- Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) project development in Mozambique.Worked as project manager of the Portuguese Carbon Neutrality Roadmap 2050, an 18-month project aiming at supporting the PT government on the country's transition to carbon neutrality by 2050. Activities performed: project management, Project’s focal point and liaise between project leader, PT Environmental Ministry, PT Environmental Agency and members of the Consortium; developed GHG emissions pathways compatible with a net-zero 2050 goal for Portugal; conducted an extensive multi-stakeholder consultation process, bringing together a wide range of experts and stakeholders from emission intensive sectors. Consulted on various climate projects in Africa - namely in in Sub-Saharan Africa (Mozambique, Angola and Tunisia) and Morocco - assisting international donors (e.g., EC - DG CLIMA, UNDP, GIZ and SEA, among others).
