Generate conventional prospects in the Fort Worth Basin

• Lead geological efforts for Fort Worth Basin (FWB) asset and managed field development and geological operations.• Identified, assessed, and recommended conventional and unconventional prospects, factoring in value, risk, and chance of success; collaborated with executive team on project strategy, development, and progress updates. • Provided geologic support to Business Development group with assessment and recommendations on potential acquisition opportunities across various basins in the onshore US.• Conducted local field studies to determine extent and volumetric estimates of conventional oil & gas reservoirs and prioritized existing PDNP behind-pipe zones with greatest potential.• Significantly improved company financial position by discovering a shallow Strawn oil field with initial discovery well producing 500+ bopd, or nearly half of total company oil production. Six additional offset wells were identified and drilled with peak daily production of 1,000+ bopd and total field production to date of 700+ Mbo.• Identified >10 successful behind-pipe recompletion opportunities in the Strawn, Caddo, and Atoka (Bend) Conglomerate zones that significantly boosted daily production with cumulative totals of 285+ Mbo and 820+ MMcf.• Generated $26+ MM in total revenue from profitable recompletions and new drill projects.

• Managed geologic operations program comprising up to four active rigs and ~200 wells, serving as integral part of lean technical team developing conventional and unconventional formations across the FWB.• Generated geologic prognosis and evaluation program for new drill wells. Collaborated with engineers in drilling and mud program design, identifying potential geo-hazards and zones of interest.• Traveled extensively to the field to oversee on-site operations including mud logging, open-hole logging, coring and real-time drilling/geo-monitoring technology. Managed the performance of third-party contractors, providing daily direction to ensure proper execution of responsibilities.• Provided geologic support for AFE generation, regulatory filings, completion designs, potential workover opportunities, upcoming lease/drilling obligations, depth (formation) restrictions, post-drill performance assessment and type-curve analysis. • Recommended optimal target intervals for completion by evaluating open-hole well logs, mud logs, image logs, seismic data, petrophysical data and incorporating other comprehensive datasets and analysis. • Presented executive leaders with play evaluation and high-graded low risk areas for future development based on subsurface characterization and assessment of reservoir potential.• Effectively added 14K+ net acres and nine top-tier wells from recommending the expansion of Marble Falls/Barnett Shale play fairway and the companies Tier 1 core development areas. • Crafted comprehensive regional stratigraphic framework and geologic model for multiple formations from the Cambrian to Late Pennsylvanian, leveraging 30K+ data points from subsurface correlations.

• Correlated and mapped Paleozoic sediments across entire FWB. Created detailed cross-sections and geologic maps from well data and subsurface correlations to aid in asset development.• Initiated a sequence stratigraphic study of the Marble Falls Formation, differentiating various parasequences, flooding surfaces/unconformities and reservoir lithofacies.

Provide the client with the most accurate and detailed mud log possible to aid in their geologic evaluation of the target interval(s). I was the lead mud logger on several horizontal wells in various basins and worked directly with geologist, geosteerers and directional drilling personnel to make real-time changes in direction of well bore based on geologic interpretation of changes in lithology/mineralogy, porosity or hydrocarbon shows. I was also responsible for training and overseeing new mud loggers the last several months with the company.
