Responsible for business development and sales growth from launch forward in the central United States, including St. Louis and Kansas City. Working closely with Dr. Pepper/Seven Up bottler network (distributor), along with our Glaceau marketing team to launch our VitaminWater brand, create and build awareness, gain trial, establish new retail accounts, and build volume to achieve brand leadership in the enhanced water segment. manage the relationship between market unit vice presidents, sales center managers/sales managers and glaceau to support sale programs+ form go to market strategies with sales center managers to address monthly plan based on current volume+ work with distributors / sales people to open new glacéau accounts, expand skills, obtain and track resets and sampling opportunities+ communicate monthly, quarterly, and yearly volume and distribution goals by brand and by package to relevant parties+ manage placement of coolers, hard point of sale and soft point of sale in accounts+ manage merchandising programs in district+ follow up weekly on past potential accounts for sales, resets and demo opportunities+ coordinate, gather and present districts’ daily recaps, resets, samplings to management team+ maintain constant flow of communication between area sales managers, region sales managers and others as appropriate.+ organize weekly meetings to create strategies for each territory and update direct reports company plans and initiatives+ manage, train, and develop team+ manage budget/trade spend
