I have joined Genus to support our Transmission projects and programs on the East Coast of Australia. Working closely with our clients and project managers, I am excited to help grow our presence and capabilities in NSW as a trusted name in Transmission construction.

My entrepreneurial activities from 2017-2019 included founding two Australian-based businesses: Cryptocurrency Australia, a private online media and educational brand that was acquired in August 2020, and Blockchain Management Solutions, a project management and development consultancy. In addition, I held the role of Communications Lead for Australian NFT start-up Zed Run in 2019, and I consulted with Masternode Ventures on the Food App Liven.

I was responsible for building Iberdrola Australia Networks core engineering team, covering both Transmission Lines and Substations from 132kV to 500kV. The engineering team was established from the ground up to perform significant in-house design and engineering capabilities to service the Build/Own/Operate/Maintain model across the whole National Electricity Market.

I designed, analyzed and developed Transmission lines up to 500kV at TransGrid, including 330kV bushfire damaged lines in Australia's alpine regions. I worked on multiple emergency line failures, concept designs for renewable projects and 500kV concept designs for Humelinks route selection. My tools included PLS-CADD, Microstation, Global Mapper and field surveying

As a Project Manager, I was tasked with delivering all projects under four Telecommunications programs within the NSW region, with a total project value of $4.5 million. After performing well in this role, I was promoted to Program Manager, overseeing multiple Secondary Systems portfolios with a combined worth of $7-10 million.

As a Project Developer, I was responsible for development of Projects for overhead and underground subtransmission powerlines from 66kV to 132kV, and completed feasibility studies for the replacement of high-voltage equipment at one of NSW's most critical substations located in Terranora.

I lead several teams as the project manager of Essential Energies new technology development projects, worth a combined $1.2M. I successfully brought to implementation two highly-complex energy improvement technologies, with both being deployed for testing and evaluation within my tenure.

As a Transmission Line Designer, I was involved in the entire design process of 33, 66 and 132kV underground and overhead transmission lines, from concept to issue for construction. I used industry-leading software such as PLS-CADD and Microstation to create detailed drawings, while managing the design project through the ProjectWise platform.

I performed maintenance and construction of Country Energy’s HV and LV distribution power network. During this period, I spent 6-month rotations with electricians, live linesmen and underground crews where I completed additional cable jointing competencies and training.
