I worked on Thunder horse as a Sr. Electrical technician for BP. In this position I was responsible for maintenance on all topsides and Hull electrical equipment as well as supervising the construction companies that came on board. Some duties include but are not limited to, Power management of the main power system with five 23 mw turbine generators. Maintenance troubleshooting and PM's on Motors and switchgear ranging from 13.8 kv to 480 volts. Robicon Variable Frequency drives fire and gas detection systems, UPS and battery systems. participating in competancy assessments and assessments of other technicians.

I worked as an Electrical Technician on the BP Atlantis and Thunderhorse project performing tasks associated with the commissioning of large offshore oil and gas facilities. My works included but was not limited to check out and start-up procedures on motors and motor starters, testing transformers, safety and fire alarm systems, as well as UPS-DC systems, 480, 4160 and 13.8 volt switchgear, medium voltage circuit breakers and Generators.

Began as an apprentice and quickly began to increase my level of knowledge in the field of Electrical construction. My time with E P Breaux took me to many commercial construction and industrial sites. Job tasks involved running conduit, terminations, pulling cable, fire alarm systems,testing and eventually other apprentices working under my leadership.
