As the Senior Director of Project Execution at Cambrian, I established and implemented the company’s Design-Build strategy for projects under its Water-Energy Purchase Agreements (WEPA). I led the Pre-Construction and Construction Project Management departments, ensuring seamless collaboration with internal and external clients to develop robust, cost-effective industrial wastewater treatment and energy capture projects across North America. Cambrian finances these Design-Build projects, assuming ownership and operational risk, thereby keeping the wastewater plant off the client’s balance sheet and allowing them to focus their capital on core investments. I am responsible for identifying and targeting new clients and developing new engineering and construction projects within the region.As TREC's Design Team Lead for industrial projects, I directly oversee engineering teams, including working with the project managers to understand the scope and customer needs. I am responsible for developing the project design strategy within financial and schedule guidelines. I determine the amount of engineering staff needed and how many phases will be required to complete the project. As a senior engineer, I am responsible for reviewing project design drawings and calculations for compliance and safety, adherence to company standards, customer contract requirements, and to ensure timely completion.Key Accomplishments:• Elected as an Associate Principal in 2017• I managed $1.1M in engineering services in 2015• I successfully managed the design and commissioning phases of a $15 million Design-Build in-situ recovery uranium mining facility capable of processing 3750 gallons per minute mining solution. The Nuclear Regulatory Commission noted this was the best design/layout for a facility of its type that they had seen in several years.• I developed a waste heat recovery system for uranium yellowcake drying to reduce drying cycle times with the benefit of capturing waste heat for other process applications.

Worked with stakeholders to understand equipment technical and functional requirements in order to design equipment used in hot cell environments. Created fully functional 3D CAD models to demonstrate how equipment designs would meet requirements. Prepared technical reports describing process and equipment functions for a proposed nuclear waste treatment facility.Key Accomplishments:• Managed a creative team of 6 engineers and drafters through the design of remotely operated equipment to retrieve highly radioactive granular nuclear waste.• Presented bi-annual project status presentation to key Department of Energy and State of Idaho stakeholders.

Facilitate Lean Kaizen events to reduce manufacturing time and costs while designing the equipment to best meet customer needs.
