I am a student who has a four year degree in Political Science and a minor in advertising from Saint Cloud State University. Realizing the first year out of college I wasn't happy with what I was doing I slowed down (for the first time in my life) and did research on some other options. I got talking to many friends who are in law enforcement and realized that is where I needed to be. I love working with people and deescalating situations. I also love working with youth and I have a goal to become a D.A.R.E. officer eventually. I no doubt miss many of those that I worked with in the private sector, but I had to follow my heart. I will be graduating in December of 2015 with my 2 year degree from Rasmussen College in Saint Cloud Minnesota. Outside of work you can find me spending a ton of time with my family and friends. I am a homegrown Minnesota boy who loves the outdoors. This includes fishing, hunting, camping, kayaking, and water skiing. There is something else that Minnesota is famous for and that is hockey which is also a major part of my life. I played for 13 years and still continue to coach and officiate the game I love!
