A compassionate and empathetic problem solver with a diversely informed background, seeking to contribute towards healthy and equitable cities.My varied experience in both healthcare, hospitality, planning and construction has contributed to my deep interest in the delivery of healthcare to our communities and the relationship between public health and the built environment. I have completed a Bachelor of Town Planning (Honours) at the University of NSW, and a Bachelor of Nursing at the University of Technology Sydney. I’ve worked in various positions across different sectors, all focusing on the delivery of service and care to people. During this time, I discovered my passion for working with people in need and learnt of areas in which improvements can be made. I have worked in acute care roles at the Prince of Wales Hospital, as a Registered Nurse and witnessed both the patient and practitioner experiences of our healthcare system. This invaluable graduate year showed me what works well and what we can do better for our communities. With a deep concern for health and wellbeing, I am applying my unique skillset and expanding my career in healthcare to improve health outcomes for the population.
