I am Roger Moss, but I go by Beau. I graduated from The University of Alabama with a degree in chemical engineering. Through my hard work ethic and diligence in school, I was able to achieve a cumulative GPA of 3.9/4.0 and to graduate summa cum laude.During college, I worked for three alternating semesters as a co-op student to get some real-life experience. Working for Daikin America in Decatur, AL, I saw first hand what engineers did in a chemical plant. I enjoyed my first two semesters in project engineering and my final semester in process engineering. I learned much about the engineering world, as well as the working world in general. I enjoyed my time there and continued to pursue my diploma after the co-op had ended.During the summer of 2014, I completed a summer abroad in Denmark. The summer program was a chemical engineering lab at the Technical University of Denmark. This lab consisted of several experiments designed to show students some of the many different pieces of equipment that they may encounter in the working world. I greatly enjoyed this experience not only from a chemical engineering standpoint, but from a cultural one as well. I was fortunate enough to be able to travel to Sweden, Germany, and Ireland while I was abroad and meet all sorts of people. I am currently seeking a career in the engineering field that will challenge me to where I can learn and grow in my career.
