Proactive in designing and launching a capacity evaluation tool that was integrated with the plant’s labor financial model. Developed union shift leaders by training them to report their own results to their teams and by completing production reporting immediately following production rather than at the end of the shift on overtime.

Optimized production efficiencies, customer fill rates and balanced overtime production, increasing fill rates to 99%. Extended the plant’s planning horizon from two weeks to four weeks, allowing the purchasing group to operate more efficiently. Spearheaded effort to interface production recommendations with MRP system; interface developed and is now key to snack plant scheduling.
