Hi, I’m Beau! I'm a US programmer with two year's experience looking for a team where I can continue to grow. I've built a website and an iOS app, both front and back ends, completed a full stack web development code camp, and done some personal Javascript projects.I'm from the US and, for the last five years, I've bounced between Boulder, Colorado and Buenos Aires, Argentina. In the past, I've been many things, from classical pianist to academic in literature, but now I'm making a career out of code.Things that I bring to the table are being completely bilingual and bicultural. I grew up in the States where I got my college education in liberal arts, and I've lived in Latin America for over 12 years. I'm a good presence to be around and have worked in places that require positivity, teamwork, and empathy, like nursing homes and a six person farm-to-table restaurant. Reading and writing about difficult academic texts in world class institutions like Oxford and Columbia University have given me analytical rigor and an eye for detail. In my classical piano studies, I've cultivated an appreciation for doing things well and beautifully. In the past decade, I've also lived in Mexico City, New York, Germany, and England. I've jumped into a lot of different hobbies, from learning languages to calisthenics to dance and theater, but my long-term passion projects have been jazz piano and writing—when the muse strikes. So I have a lot of pools and perspectives to draw from in my creativity, be it for pleasure or work or both. I also care about things like mental health, having good conversations, and connecting with people.
