My passion is building kick-ass companies that are IP focused and leverage state-of-the art data science, machine learning, and data engineering. In many TV shows and movies, the heroes are supported by a tech team that can build game-changing inventions on demand to solve whatever predicament they find themselves in. Think Tony Stark for the Avengers, Shuri for Black Panther, Fitz and Simmons for Agents of Shield, MacGyver, or Data in Goonies. My teams do the same thing. I build and lead innovative tech teams to support the executive, product, and sales heroes in an organization. The solutions and products we invent bring immense value to the companies we work with. Over the the course of my career I’ve built cutting-edge products and solutions in multiple domains including eCommerce, digital ad tech, insurance, biotech, healthcare, investment and finance, legal services, and real estate. I’m a serial inventor. I have patents and pending patents in many of these industries.As a data scientist, I'm a generalist: my experience includes custom intellectual property development (I've invented a number of custom proprietary machine learning algorithms), AI / machine learning, business analytics, data collection, data engineering and architecture, software development, study design, data preparation, experimental design, algorithm and model development, reporting, and data visualization. I’m an ecologist and evolutionary biologist by training: I have a passion for bio-inspired algorithms and processes.
