Responsibilities:- Develop proposals for complex GCS customer projects- Support development of European/Global complex proposals in a matrix environment: Regional/Global Customer Managers – DHL Business Units – Business Sectors - Countries.- Manage end to end process of providing customers “best-in-class” Supply Chain Management solutions – warehousing, transportation, information systems, and information management.- Support selling/negotiation process by coordinating provision of specifications of detailed solution documentation in Automotive, Engineering and Manufacturing and Pharma sectors.- Deliver successful logistics solutions that enhance customers supply chain management.

Design of the internal global Quality Management System (based on ISO 9001) as part of “First Choice” Corporate Program.Implementation of the Global Quality Management System, within EMEA (+/- 800 logistics sitesManagement of a virtual team of +/- 30 Country Quality Managers.Successful implementation in a phased approach of the Global QMS within EMEA.Follow-up of the implementation of the Global Quality Management System, following Project Management methodology.Organisation of quality awareness and CAPA (Corrective Preventive Actions) workshops in each of EMEA country.

Maintain the Global Quality Management System in line with the other two Regions.Define ISO9001:2000 audit programs, perform internal audits and support customer audits.Manage Certification Body relationships.Indirect People Management: Process Assurance Circles Members from each department.Global ISO9001:2000 Certification every year.Design of SPACIT, Global Customer Acquisition Process.Design and Implementation of a global web-based Preventive-Corrective Actions Tool.Design and Implement the Competency Assessment Program

Define regional and global profitability actions for the 110 biggest DHL Global Customers.Define regional Profit Improvement Program for Spare Part Logistics Customers.Regional expert in Costing, Pricing and Profitability tools.Lead Customer Profitability Reviews as part of the X1 project with McKinsey consultants.Provide expertise and support to the Industries for contract and pricing renewal.Development, implementation and monitoring of Profit Improvement Programs, resulting in “Money in the Bank”.Deployment of profitability tools/reports within GCL from design to distribution, including training sessions for users and management.

Define pricing strategies for European Accounts.Provide support to the European Account Managers in the contract (re)negotiation process.Evaluation of profitability (Cost and Post-Cost analysis).Rates proposal and follow-up of the tenders/bids.Redesign of the European Accounts pricing process, including design and implementation of a bids database.Development of pricing strategies for multi-million bids or tenders.“Express Saver” and “Import Rates” projects: definition of European Accounts pricing strategy for these 2 new UPS services.
